Little Greene Paradise Wallpaper - Nightshade

Paradise (c1940) celebrates a truly rich mix of styles. The document from which this article is taken is actually a 20th-century piece, but the subject matter – exotic flora and familiar Oriental ho-ho birds – is classic old Chinoiserie, while the colouring in the original is very much in the style of a 19th-century French paper. This design retains the large repeat of the original and has been reproduced in a stunning six colours.
