Little Greene Wallpaper

Vine (c1932), taken from the Whitworth Art Gallery archive in Manchester, offers an unmistakable tribute to William Morris, the father of the Arts & Crafts movement of the late 19th century. An authentic surface printing technique has been employed to reproduce this contemporary version, with the blue colour palette being very close to the original colour – despite the poor condition of the background colour in the surviving fragment.
