Farrow&Ball Matchstick Paint No. 2013

The tone of unbleached wood. This versatile, understated shade is named after the unbleached wood used in the stem of a match. With the slight addition of black, this neutral wood color creates delicately understated rooms that are warm and not overly creamy. In well-lit rooms, it has a fresher quality, especially when contrasted with White Tie or other yellow-based neutrals, while it becomes more relaxed and traditional in a darker, north-facing room.
